Kelli has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and over 15 years of experience in teaching, playing, performing, and accompaniment on a variety of instruments. Over the years she has taught both individual lessons and in a classroom setting, but now focuses specifically on one-on-one piano lessons. Kelli introduces students to music theory, sight-reading, and ear training all while encouraging them to work with a variety of styles and genres in order to suit their needs, learning styles, and interests. As a teacher, Kelli is passionate about instilling a love and enjoyment of music in her students. To help facilitate that enjoyment in young learners, she incorporates movement and games to teach and reinforce different concepts. When Kelli is not teaching she loves spending her time with her baby, husband, and two dogs. She also works in the children’s program and music ministry at her church and enjoys staying active outdoors.
