Tung Pham hails from Boston, MA where he graduated from the Boston Arts Academy (02′) and earned a Bachelor of Music Performance degree at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (06′). He was a student teacher with the UMass Lowell String Project and later on served as operations manager for the Suzuki School of Newton. While working on his Master of Music Education (11′) degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, Tung founded the Gora Gora Orkestar, balkan brass band, who regularly perform in Colorado food and music festivals as well as festivals in Seattle, Austin and Boston, Columbia (MO). This past year, Tung has appeared with local Colorado groups such as Tropical Kaoba, Gypsy Moon, Gasoline Lollipops and recently collaborated with the Flobots on their new album, No Enemies. Currently, Tung is an instrumental music teacher at Timberline PK-8 where he teaches band and mariachi.
